God gave us two tells the story of a young bear cub who discovers she's about to become a big sister. From the moment you open this book you are swept away into a story filled with wonderful and mesmerizing pictures - a fun read for any parent and child. This story addresses the concerns any child might have when he or she discovers she's about to become an older sibling, but is also filled with exciting and unexpected surprises. Through the story the little bear cub asks many questions. Some are cute, such as can we send the baby back if we don't like the baby? However, she also asks some very big heartfelt questions - for instance, will you forget about me when the baby comes? This book is a good read for any parent who is expecting a second (or third) child and is perfect for reading and discussing with your child who might have the same questions or concerns. At the end of the book my oldest was exhilarated to discover little bear was saying exactly what she had said to me before I turned the page. I won't spoil the surprise by telling you exactly what that was. You have to read it.
*I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
